Character Name: Scott McCall
Canon: Teen Wolf
Canon Information: Wiki Link
Canon Point: 3x23 "Insatiable"
Age: 17
God Houses: Heimdall: Scott is loyal down into his bones, and occasionally to a fault. He will fight to protect, and to save, not just those he cares about but people at large.
Frigg: Scott has only had his mother since he was young, since his dad left. Melissa McCall is kind of his entire everything. Her love and guidance made him into the person he is now.
Personality: Scott McCall is the exact kind of guy you'd want to take home to Mom, genuinely good down to his core. He cares about people, deeply and with his whole being, and tries to always see the good in others. That extends into his overly trusting nature, which on the surface is good, but Scott takes too far into a fault. He pushes benefit of the doubt too long and can end up easily manipulated for trying to see the best in people. Though he has certainly influenced people to be better versions of themselves for all the faith he holds in the best parts of people, as well.
Since becoming a werewolf, Scott has matured a lot, very quickly, due to the situations far above his teenager pay-grade that he has continually been thrust into. With his arrival here coming on the immediate heels of losing Allison, his need to protect people he cares about will likely ramp up and he might, at times, let rash and desperate decisions fuel those efforts. Putting himself in danger is always, by his own estimation, better than letting his pack, family, or friends suffer.
Unlike other, power-hungry Alphas he has met in Beacon Hills, Scott is much more humbled in the powers he retains as a True Alpha, never using the advantages that his status has given him to overpower others except when absolutely necessary. He is resilient, and stubbornly avoids violence and murder to find better ways to handle any situation.
He has a tendency to try to hold too much accountability on his own shoulders. Because of this, Scott can fall into a guilt spiral if someone is hurt and he feels he could have prevented it in some way.
Because of events he experienced at home, Scott is in a considerably bad headspace. He watched the love of his life die at the hand of a demon just before appearing in this universe and it might take more time than it would have otherwise for him to make some adjustments here. Overall, though, he will buckle down and do his best to deal the new hand life has given him.
Writing Sample: Scott is huddled on the ground with Allison in his arms, and the scene goes from a desperate attempt to help her, to save her, to a tragic final love confession from Allison as she finally succumbs to the fatal stab wound delivered by the Oni.
He's still in a heap on the floor when awareness comes back to him from that second, to the next, and he squints against the brightness of the stark-white room he now finds himself in. The shock of the light, and the new surroundings quickly surpasses into panic. "What? No- no, no. Allison? Where's Allison? Lydia-- Stiles, I--" His voice breaks and it's everything in him to not just dissolve on the spot. But it's then that he hears another voice.
"We're so glad you're awake," a woman appears to say. "...welcome to Asgard, dear Wanderer."
He is in no real state to make any kind of decisions, but something about her voice is soothing, and with little else in the way of choices at the moment, he follows her to meet the others in her family and figure out what new, crazy thing his life has decided to throw at him.
